The best natural sun burn remedy, ever…

This is a super easy and a highly effective remedy, for one and all. The method is as simple as this:

Once you are sun burned, just apply some really good quality lavender oil to your burnt areas. It takes about 10 minutes to go from bright red, to a good tan. And that is it, you will feel pain no longer.

If you are using essential oil, add 10 drops of lavender essential oil into 0.1 liter of cold pressed carrier oil. This could be anything from extra virgin olive oil to cold pressed sesame oil. However if you use coconut oil, which is cooling by nature, probably the whole procedure becomes more effective.

If you are sensitive to sun light and you are looking for sun protection that could be used internally as well, take amla, or indian gooseberry. In the ayurvedic tradition amla is taken during the entire winter season against colds and flu, because amla contains a huge amount of vitamin C. After some years of observation, it became clear that amongst those who were taking amla for a prolonged time, their skin became more resistant to sun light, even to extreme exposure to the sun.

And this phenomena goes well with an old Siberian saying: “Build your boats during the winter, and your sleighs in the summer.” Meaning always work in a perventive way, rather than a reactive way.
